Warm Weather Good For Me, Not For Nessie
I have spent the last year largely wondering how the English ever survived and prospered in this weather. The weather all last year was, to put it mildly, the suck.
I have really been enjoying the last week’s weather here. I’ve been told that February 12th was the warmest on record in London and last weekend was sunny and spring-like. We have hit 15 degrees which makes for a great Saturday afternoon in February.
Of course the spoilsport meteorologists keep saying it won’t last and will be cold this weekend.
While I’ve been enjoying this warming trend, it has sadly proven fatal to the Loch Ness monster.

I think the last couple of days have decisively placed in the “suckiness” column. I missed last weekend, having been out of the country, but what I came back to keeps telling me something along the lines of “Come on, give up, you know the weather will always suck in England”…

First of all, this is highly funny, I’m not sure you intended it to be.
Second of all, don’t let the US political left hear about the global warming/Nessie connection… I’d never hear the end of it on the news.
Also, Great “visitor locations” map. That’s AWESOME. I’ve never seen it before.

My mom visited England last November and it snowed. She was ecstatic as she had never seen snow. She was glad to be leaving the next day though. She has a low tolerance for cold.

Chalk up another victim of global warming. I wonder how the Yeti and Bigfoot are doing, surely they are losing some of the fur to adapt.

It’s cold. Too cold. Bring on Global Warming and a tropical UK climate.

The inclement weather here (especially Up North) has been one of the factors that moulded it’s people into what they are today…
Let’s hope for a better Summer this year!
Cheers,
John

So, the Nessie hunter says, “What disturbs me as a lawyer is that we prove cases by eyewitness testimony. The human brain is not 100 per cent accurate but it’s not zero either.”
I believe a wish to see is a powerful thing-what does everyone else think?

The cold weather in the state of maine where you live is bad for your internal lochness monster. But you maintain it very swiftly.
