Sauntering Into The 21st Century
I have had a few problems with my internet service for the last week. My connection was always painfully slow, and then came problems connecting and I haven’t been able to update B!C! frequently for that reason. After a week of dealing with customer service and tech support, with their trying to understand my accent and me theirs, I think the problem has been corrected.
So now I have, if not blazing fast speed, at least zippy speed and a reliable connection. Where before I suspected my emails were being delivered via carrier pigeon and my connection consisted of two soup cans with a bit of string between, now things seem to be moving at a decent pace. What a difference a good connection makes.
What I’m most excited about is to download the trial versions of Adobe CS3 software. I’m curious to see the speed difference on an Intel Mac compared to the non-native CS2, and check out the new features. Of course now I can access more media files, so I might check out those YouTube presidential debate questions.

It’s great. I’m still clocking under 3Mb, but it’s such a vast improvement I’m not complaining. Yet. I’m going to call and ask why we still don’t have the speed we ordered, but in the meantime I’m reveling in the extra bandwidth.

You guys are really lucky. No isp in my country gives more than 256 kbps and that aint cheap either. I just get 64kbps. I envy u guys. I would have to wait for months to download a movie and watching vids on utube takes ages to load.
I dont think you can download a trial version of photoshop cs3.
