The End of the World Cup

Well it was an exciting ride. England lost to South Africa last night, as was expected, 15-6. While they didn’t get to keep the cup, they did leave their mark by making it much further than anyone believed. It was a good game, not as exciting as the Argentina v. France one the other night, but still good.

Now that rugby is finished I can continue cheering for West Ham and the Seahawks. I’m used to end of season disappointment.

Congratulations to South Africa for winning the World Cup.

Really disappointment by the England team. Seems to be like a one sided match

I don’t think that England should be too disappointed. They didn’t play flashy or create a lot of fodder for highlight reels, but they did play well. They started the tournament as no-hopers sure to make a quick exit. They ended up in the final and ensuring that South Africa didn’t have a blowout victory.

Congratulations to South Africa, they performed well and deserve the cup. The English should be proud as well, although I know they tend to be glass half-empty types.
